Alex McKenzie is an artist working between various media including sound, sculpture, and the moving image. Balancing the absurd and contemplative his practice is influenced by media technologies, mimetic culture, and systems of information exchange. Alex currently lives in eastern Iowa where he is an Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Cornell College.
